Arlington Shopping Center Wraps Up Facelift
Arlington Highlands boasts more than 30 restaurants
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our friend and former colleague, Christine “Chris” Grba, who passed away on November 14th. Christine served as the General Manager of Arlington Highlands from 2013 through 2024, faithfully guiding the property through more than a decade of growth, change, and community impact.
Christine was a valued member of Fairbourne Properties, dedicating many years of her career to creating a thriving, welcoming environment here at Arlington Highlands. Her leadership, professionalism, and genuine kindness made an enduring impression on everyone she worked with. For many of us, she was more than a colleague, she was a friend, a mentor, and a steady presence we could always rely on.
As General Manager, Christine worked tirelessly to support our retailers, collaborate with our partners, and ensure Arlington Highlands remained a vibrant destination for the Dallas–Fort Worth community. Her commitment to excellence helped shape AH into the lifestyle center it is today. She cared deeply about her work and even more deeply about the people around her.
Those of us who had the privilege of working with Christine on a daily basis will remember her warmth, her humor, her grace under pressure, and her unwavering dedication. She will be missed profoundly and remembered fondly by all who knew her.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time. We will share information regarding funeral arrangements or memorial services as soon as it becomes available.
Rest in peace, Christine. Thank you for everything.
