Stars and Stripes on the Lawn: A Star-Spangled Celebration

Arlington Highlands kicked off Independence Day in true red, white, and blue fashion with its Stars and Stripes on the Lawn event! Families and friends gathered on Friday, June 28, to enjoy a patriotic morning filled with music, sweet treats, and festive fun for all ages.

A Festive Kickoff to the 4th

From 10:00–11:30 AM, the Lawn was buzzing with activity. A live DJ spun upbeat Americana tunes while kids danced among bubbles and sparkled with glitter tattoos. With flags waving, smiles shining, and photo ops at every corner, it was the perfect way to launch into holiday weekend celebrations.

Tenants That Made It Shine

The real stars of the morning were the Arlington Highlands tenants who came together to spread cheer:

• Starbucks fueled the crowd with refreshing sips to keep the celebration lively.
• Color Me Mine encouraged creativity with patriotic-themed pottery projects.
• Black Eyed Pea, the last remaining in the nation, added a classic Southern flair.
• Massage Envy offered relaxing moments between the fun-filled activities.
• KidsPark kept little ones engaged with playful energy and family-friendly spirit.
• European Wax Center shared beauty tips and summer-ready goodies.
• Peach Cobbler Factory sweetened the day with desserts that had everyone lining up for seconds.
• Dave & Buster’s brought the energy with games and giveaways for kids and parents alike.
• Kendra Scott offered a touch of sparkle perfect for accessorizing summer looks.
• Lazy Dog served up community charm and a taste of their seasonal flavors.

With 12 tables dressed in linens, 24 chairs, and even a custom DJ table, the Lawn was transformed into a festive star-spangled hub for families to gather and celebrate together.
